Yibing Fu

Yibing Fu started her piano study at the age of four in China. She earned both bachelor's degrees in piano performance from Shandong Normal University and Nazareth College, under Dr. Jacob Ertl's studio. She recently acquired her Master's degree from Ohio University in Piano performance and pedagogy studying with Dr. Emely Phelps. She is experienced in teaching both private piano lessons and group piano teaching classes as a Graduate Assistant at Ohio University. 

Yibing has professional and methodological research in piano pedagogy and is passionate about teaching piano. She employs a creative variety of teaching approaches to her piano lessons. She has been active in the Music Teacher National Association (MTNA) since 2017, participating in chapter projects every year. Yibing believes the most important thing about teaching piano is building up interest and happiness in students while guiding them to grow in their musical study.
